5h50 am, Tuesday August 24 1999, we left Le Havre and arrived in Cherbourg at midnight.
After a few stops in Brittany, we sailed along Spain and Portugal until Lisbon, our last stop before the Canary Islands, Cabo Verde, and Brazil.
The weather being rough on a regular basis, we have spent quite some time stuck in Spanish and Portugese ports. But there is no reason why we should take any risks, especially after having repaired the boat for 5 years ! Besides, we are in no hurry, and we want to enjoy our trip and see as many things as possible and share them with you in this web site.
